Bid Invitation for the supply and delivery of Blood Bags, Rapid Tests, CLIA Tests, Antisera and Other Materials for NRCS, Blood Transfusion Service

Sealed tenders are hereby invited from registered firms/manufactures/authorized agent or distributor for the supply and delivery of Blood Bags, Rapid Tests, CLIA Tests, Antisera and Other Materials for NRCS, Blood Transfusion Service.

1 . Tender document containing request for quotation, instruction to bidders, detailed specifications of each items and the terms & conditions etc. can be purchased from Nepal Red Cross Society, National NHQS, Red Cross Marga, Kalimati, Kathmandu during office hours from 07 April, 2024 to 05 May, 2024 on written request with relevant documents and against payment of non- refundable tender fee of Rs. 3,000/-. 

2. Tenders in sealed cover with samples of required materials and the bank deposit voucher/bank guarantee of earnest money will be received at the above address during working days on or before 4:00 PM, 06 May 2024 at NRCS, Procurement Management Division. Bidders are responsible to maintain cold chain of testing kits. The tender received will be opened at 11:30 A.M. on 07 May, 2024 at NRCS, NHQS, Kalimati, Kathmandu. The bidders must meet all the requirements as specified in the tender documents and therefore advised to go through the tender documents carefully before submission and assure him/her for the compliance of the specified terms & conditions. 

3. The bidder(s) must deposit 2.5% including VAT 13% of the total bid amount as Earnest Money in the form of Bank Voucher against cash deposited in account No. 17 0002089 33 of Nepal Red Cross Society at Standard Chartered Bank Ltd. Kathmandu or Bank Demand Draft payable in favor of the said account at the submission of bids or Bank guarantee issued by A class bank with validity of 3 months (90) days. The successful bidder(s) will have to deposit 10% (ten percent) of the order value including VAT as Performance Security at the time of signing the agreement. 

4. All bidders  are requested to submit the standard certificates (for example WHO, GMP, CE, ISO, FDA certificates etc.) of all materials as mentioned in the specification. Non-submission of standard certificates or submission of expired certificate will be considered as non-responsive and shall be excluded from further evaluation. 

5. Local representative of principal companies or firms should submit bid forms with letter of authorization having the authority to quote rates and represent what so ever uses on behalf of the manufacturer) from principal and attested copy of renewed form registration, VAT and the latest tax clearance certificate. 

6. Detail Specifications of the materials will be as mentioned in the tender document. 

7. Any offer, discount, increase or decrease in price after opening the sealed tender will not be accepted. 

8. The Nepal Red Cross Society reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity or drop any item and also to accept or reject part or whole tender or any or all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever and not bound to accept the lowest bid. 

9. Important: All bidders are requested to submit the technical and the financial proposal in the separate envelope and must clearly mention the name of the proposal in front of the envelope. Only technically qualified firms will be selected for final selection process
