Invitation for Electronic Bids from CTEVT

1. The Government of Nepal [GoN] has allocated fund toward the cost for the establishment of the Gaur Polytechnic Institute, Gaur, Rautahat and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the contracts and suppose to complete the works as per budget allocated in current F/Y of CTEVT/ Gaur Polytechnic Institute. Bidding is open to all eligible Nepalese Bidders.
2. Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT)/Gaur Polytechnic Institute invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the construction of following work under National Competitive Bidding- 

Only eligible Bidders with the following Key Qualifications should participate in these biddings.

3. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information at the office of Gaur Polytechnic Institute, Gaur-Rautahat, Phone No. 9855042144 or may visit PPMO e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp.

4. Bidders need to submit their bids electronically by downloading bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit NRs. 3,000.00 (In words: Nepalese Rupees Three Thousands Only) for the bid in the Call Deposit Account No. 1210100008874001 in Rastriya Banijya Bank, Gaur Branch, Gaur until the 29th Chaitra, 2080, the cost of bidding document as specified above and the scanned copy (pdf format) of the Bank deposit voucher shall be uploaded by the bidder at the time of electronic submission of the bids.

5. Pre-Bid Meeting shall be held at the office of Gaur Polytechnic Institute, Gaur-Rautahat 19th Chaitra, 2080 at 14:00 hrs.

6. Electronic bids having its contract name and identification number must be submitted through PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12:00 noon on 30th Chaitra, 2080. Bids received after this deadline shall not be accepted.

7. Bids shall be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 13:00 hours on 30th Chaitra, 2080 at the office of Gaur Polytechnic Institute, Gaur, Rautahat. There will be no any obstruction to open bidding document if bidder representative are not present.

8. Electronic bids must be valid for a period of 90 days from bid opening and and must be accompanied by bid security amounting mentioned on the above table, which shall be valid for 120 days from the date of last date of submission of bid (i.e.25th Shrawan, 2081). If bidder wishes to submit the Bid Security in the form of cash, the cash should be deposited in Call Deposit Account No. 1210100008874001 at Rastriya Banijya Bank, Gaur Branch, Gaur and submit the Bank Voucher of the deposited amount of cash along with the bid.

9. If the last date of purchasing, submission and opening falls on a government holiday then the next working day for the event shall be considered as the last day. In Such Case the validity of bid security shall be considered as specified for the original last date of submission of bid.

10. Bidders are advised to visit site and assess the actual site conditions before submitting their bid.

11. Any intimidation, collusion and cartelling during bidding process shall be punishable by law. 

12. In the case of any discrepancies or error in bid documents, bid notice or in any other documents the office reserve the right to amend and correction any time.

13. The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning any reason, whatsoever.

14. Any additional matters not covered by Invitation Notice and mandatory information shall be in accordance with prevailing Public Procurement Act 2063 (with first amendment 2073) and Public Procurement Regulation 2064 (with latest amendment 2077) of the Government of Nepal.
