KMC invites Bidders for Supply and Installation of Street Lights

1. Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Ward Office-11 has allocated funds towards the cost Supply and Installation of Street Lights and Strip Lights in Different Places in Ward 11, KMC and intends to apply the funds to cover eligible payments under the contract and is open to all eligible Nepalese Bidders.

2. The Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Ward Office-11 invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of 01-01-080-81-NCBG-WARD11-KMC under National competitive bidding - Single Stage Two Envelope procedures.

3. Under the Single Stage. Two Envelope Procedure, Bidders are required to submit simultaneously two separate sealed envelopes, one containing (1) the Technical Bid and the other (ii) the Price Bid, both in turn enclosed in one sealed envelope as per the provision of ITB 23 of the Bidding Document.

4. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Ward Office-11, Babarmahal, Kathmandu, Nepal or may visit PPMO eGP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp.

5. Bidder who chooses to submit their bid electronically may download the bidding documents for e-submission from PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically should deposit Nrs. 5,000.00 (Rupees Five Thousands Only) in the NIC Asia Bank Ltd., Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Procurement Unit, Account No.0012050061475043

6. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at Ward Office-11, Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Babarmahal, Kathmandu, Nepal at 14:00 hours on 2080/12/09.

7. Electronic bids must be submitted to the office Ward Office-11, Kathmandu Metropolitan City, through PPMO's e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12:00 hours on 2080/12/25. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.

8. The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 14:00 hours on 2080/12/25 at the office of Ward Office-11, Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Babarmahal, Kathmandu, Nepal. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security or scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format in case of e-bid, amounting to a minimum of NRs. 2,00,000.00 (Rupees Two Lakhs Only) which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid (i.e. 120 days).

9. The bid security may either be in the form of a bid security issued by authorized Financial Institution according to format provided in Bid Document or cash deposited in Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Deposit account, NIC Asia Bank Ltd., Account No. 0012050061493005.

10. If the last date of purchasing and/or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid and bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
