The work consists of dismantling, repairing, replacing, supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of damaged electrical wiring systems, lighting fixtures and solar power system components damaged due to protest/riot activities. The work shall include removal of burnt, broken, vandalized and non-functional electrical and solar accessories; supply and installation of new wires, conduits, switches, sockets, distribution accessories, LED lamps, light fittings, MCB/DB accessories, solar panels, batteries, inverters, charge controllers and all other necessary related materials as required.
The contractor shall carry out rewiring, jointing, fixing, alignment, connection, earthing, testing and commissioning complete in all respect as per standard specification and instruction of the Engineer. All materials used shall be new, approved quality and equivalent to approved standard brands. The rate shall include cost of all materials, labour, transportation, loading/unloading, scaffolding if required, tools and tackles, testing equipment, wastage, overhead, contractor’s profit and all incidental charges required for completion of the work.
The completed system shall be tested for proper operation and handed over in satisfactory working condition.
